Cant't understand a porsche without turbo.. and yes im very familiur with gt3

 

GT2 for sure!! I think the GT2 is a great car full of soul and thrills.

 

I would get a GT2 because its a combo of the GT3 and the Turbo.

 

GT2 is the clear choice here.

Thanks for the comments. Makes the decision all that much harder, I was not expecting the big response for the GT2.

I see the poll is pretty close, but not much word from the GT3 RS camp. What are your thoughts and why?

I would definitely go with the GT3 RS. So much more of a pure car.

 

the gt2 is a far superior car and i personally consider it a level above the gt3

 

The gt2 was almost twice as expensive as the gt3 when it's was sold new...I money is not an object i can't even understand why someone want a gt3..

 

While the GT2 might be superior .. The GT3-RS is still drop dead gorgeous.

 

The GT3 is never going to push you into the seat like that GT-2. You'd be surprised how much you'll miss that...

 

Guys we are talking about the RS here not the regular GT3. Those who have driven the past RS models knows how exciting these cars really are. It's a step up even compare to the GT3 cup. The RS version have the best of everything from Porsche Motorsports. It 's the cream of the crop track car. And its exclusivity will retain values many years to come. Very diffiicult decision indeed, JCM

Don't forget to look at the production numbers GT-2 vs. GT-3RS +$120-130k GT-2 vs. GT-3 RS around the same price???

 

I voted GT3RS.

Sure it might not perform as well, but here's my thought:

Naturally Aspirated - while slower, it's more "raw" and fun IMO. It's not your track car, just a fun weekend car!
Newer - Nicer interior for the street, nicer exterior looks, "new thing on the block" factor, etc.
Rare - While the GT2 is far from common, I think the GT3RS will be more rare?

The GT2 was my dream car a few years ago. But now, I like the 997 styling so much, and the GT3RS is currently the cream of the crop for this generation.

You can't lose with either!!!
