Todd and Cynthia at Protomotive built a 4.0 liter for me several years ago..It had individual TB's and a set of custom turbos...It made 800hp on low boost and the torque was amazing! The only drawback was a lower redline...The car ran a 10.1 at 147MPH on street tires..

I am located in Montreal I whant to do 4.0L or 3.8L because of the displacement and torque

We do offer 9ff NA 4.1L 425HP Motors.

However 9ff also does offer complete 4.0L twin turbo stroker kits.
Bespoke 9ff TI pistons, heads, nikasil sleeves, cams, elliptical pistons.
Water-air intercoolers...and way more.

The cost is certainly not cheap however - $100k for 840HP, and $140 for 910HP.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Check out the "extreme tuning" part of the eurocar gallery to see some cool shots and tech.

Sure, you can make 1000Hp from a 3.6 - but the point of the 4.0L is an unstressed, high power, high torque screamer (7500rpm), which is equally comfortable loafing around town or tearing 241.1mph holes in the air.

I wouldn't trust motorsheister to even do an oil change on my car. They're infamous for shoddy work and plain ripping people off. Run the other way FAST! If you want power, you're going to have to pay for it, but stay with a reputable company like Sharkwerks, Euroboutique, Lucent, EVOMS, Protomotive, Imagine Auto and others but do your research because you get what you pay for in the world of tuning. I mean you can easily build something thing that'll be fairly inexpensive, but then you're going to have to pay through the nose when you have to go somewhere else to correct their mistakes. I can't tell you how many times I've read about people having to have either new engines or their engines rebuilt after a Motormeister "rebuild". For more info about them in particular, do a search of them at www.pelicanparts.com or at Rennlist.

Thank you!
It started life as a 964 and when it was done the only 964 parts left where the original frame and roof...It took two years to finish the entire project..hats off to Todd and Cynthia at Protomotive for building a MONSTER 4 liter that drove on a daily basis with ease and could redline 6th gear (modded 1997 all wheel drivetrain) like it was 2nd....
