You need to have direct discussion with:
Rob King @ SCarGo, or
Todd @ EVOMS, or
Todd @ Protomotive. or
Stephen @ Imagine Auto,

this has been done before...
talk to the experts or get a bunch of opinions from
a Ying Yang like myself.

MT, that shop is the 9ff dealer and I think that they do the 4.1 liter for the normally-aspirated engines. The turbo/GT2/GT3 use a different engine.

Where are you located?

Why not just do a 3.6 ltr?
Protomotive can squeeze a few ponies out of the measly little 3.6...

Yes, but bigger displacement makes more torque and torque makes you go faster.

At that point why not just buy a CGT crate engine and shoehorn it into a gutted 997 C2 chassis (yes I know much metal will need to be cut, but it's not like those rear seats were going to be used anyway), then throw a couple of turbo's on it ie. Gemballa and 9ff CGT's. That will generate over 1000hp and should satisfy your hunger for speed Throw GT3 body panels on it and you'll have the meanest 911 this side of the famed Moby Dick 935.
