Ive been asking this forever.....
I dont htink the 996s have AUX inputs...
Anyway - if you are using Ipod with your PC get rid of musicmatch and get Itunes....100 times better

You can use both your CD Changer and your IPOD; You just need a splitter.

acc/ to bose there is no aux input on the back of the bose system on TTs. thus you are stuck w/ an FM modulator, just like you have to use w/ satellite radio. i confirmed this w/ a tech specialist at boses automotive division.

When you seek information, ask people that have experience, not people that asked a person...who asked another person...who said this and said that...etc.

Simply purchase the cable from Becker, it plugs into the back of your Becker unit in place of the CD Changer.

I am assuming you are working with a 2002 or older Turbo.

Dan, I have a 02 TT--so all I have to do is contact Becker directly and get the cable so that I will have a direct aux. input (ie, no FM modulator) into the head unit for satellite or my IPOD?? If so that would be great news. BTW i thought i was speaking to an expert at Bose.

Yes, purchase the Aux cable from Becker, then simply connect to the back of your head unit. If you have a CD Changer, this cable will take its spot. The Aux cable has two female RCA connectors that can accept a wide range of gadgets.

You must select AUX as your input on your Becker unit.
