Question;
GT700 kit; the car has been modified only externally no internal build; just changed pipes to fabspeed 300cell cats with bypass pipes; Boost was only at 1.4 on pump gas and max of 1.5 with 100 octane gas before. Now with the new pipes I see 1.6 Bar. I know due to less back pressure it could create more air flow, but I did not think this much. Please advise.

Boost

Have not really taken it in yet to check with the boost pressure. The Bar indicator reads 1.6. Any ideas.

So what is thr safe levels of boost with GT700 kit and how much power it makes on 93 pump gas ???

It doesn not make 700 HP at the crank on regular pump fuel right ???

Probably closer to 600 crank on pump fuel.

Very similar to my power level.

I would recommend a boost guage to make certain that you are actually making that much boost.

Car dynoed at 600HP on pump gas, and 630HP with 100 octane gas. 1.6 Bar kind of scares me right now in 4th,5th, and 6th gear. I called my tuner and he said if I see this again I may need to take it back to the shop to lower the wastegates.

600 hp ON PUMP...Wow...sound very low to ME...why would they call it GT700 kit then...marketing BS... so the kit that makes 620 HP on 91 pump...has simular power like GT700 ???

and how much power does you car have and what is your 1/4 times ???

My Protomotive car is 660-680 Crank Horsepower.

K24/18g turbos; no zero clearance, no gold plating, no special break-in.
These turbos are about as basic and functional as it gets. I have upgrade fuel system, intake system
and really, really good intercoolers (power preservation at the road racing course)

I consistently trap 134+ miles per hour on 19" Michelin PS2's with stiff JIC suspension.
You can see my other performance in my signature.
My power is very similar to GT700, They just usually CLAIM higher numbers.
It really is a perception/calculation thing since my tuner is one of the few that
actually has an engine dyno (his type of Chassis dyno typically reads high:
my RWHP numbers were 628 Rear Wheel HP @ 1.34 bar on 99 octane unleaded)

On pump gas my car made 558 Rear Wheel HP on this same "high reading" dynapack.
