Peak Boost on my gt700
Just got finished installing my new defi gauges with link display. On pump gas I see peak boost at 1.6bar and on race I am seeing 1.8bar. The stock boost gauges is only reading 1.2bar. I have seen the stock boost gauge hit 1.3/1.4bar previously.

The defi gauges are pretty correct. You should see 23-23 lbs of boost on pump program and about a pound more with 100 octane. I was getting steady 23.5 lbs on my gt700 pump dyno of 585 whp thats 23.5/14.7 = 1.59 bars
Your right were you should be I promise. Car rips right mine sure does.

Jags I also have the new Zaenar diod in my car so my stock gauge only reads 1.0 bar flat. At least you had it showed something reasonablly more accurate. Sometimes I think im not boosting for ****. Put then I get into second gear and I realized I'm wrong. hahaha

But why do you think the gauges are out of cal.?

I know why...
ps. if ur running 1.6 bars sustained on pump gas... OMG- I hope you dont blow her up. 1.5 bars on 100 octane is pushing it let alone 1.6 and up on pump. call ur tuner/installer asap and get assurance that its OK....
just to give you an Idea.... we run those kind of boost levels on 110 and above only....

you guys with the gt700s have to have the diode.... thats the only way that car is able to produce the power- at higher boost levels.... I had one 2 years ago as well... but I never ran my car on pump wt 1.5 bars... thats insane. thats how Sharky, CJV, etc... bent their rods... they were running a ton of boost...( not picking on u guys either).
you guys are taking a major risk- sorry but will any and I said any tuner fix your blown head gasket or bent rods for free... I don't think so.
again- Im not picking on anyone.. just I know thats dangerous on pump gas.

call the tuner, ask if its Ok.. worse case scenario you turn down the WGs....
I personally would run 1.3 bars on pump and 1.5 bars on 100 octane... problem is that u guys cant control the boost setting liek we can with the greddy boost controller( im sure Stephen can make it happen). I think that would be ideal.

Mark I live in Washington and today it was in the low 60's. I have a call into my tuner and he will call evo and garrett on monday. What concerns me is that on the stock gauge i am seeing 1.2bar and 1.8bar on the defi. I have seen 1.3 and 1.4bar on the stock gauge before and that would mean over 2.0bar
