Hey you said it, not us! Plus, when I saw the wood interior (like the last one you almost bought), I was convinced you were serious!

The pictures are "stolen". There is a Florida dealer that sells on ebay and ALWAYS has this background when taking pictures.

There are many of these scams on Yahoo cars, Cars.com, and autotrader.com.

Turn him in.

Guys,

I emailed the seller yesterday asking why is he selling a car worth in the low 80's for only 35K. Here is the scammers email I got this morning:

Thank you for your quick reply.

You needn`t worry , the car is in perfect overall condition.
The car is in Avena , Italy.I have to sell this car as fast as I can because my 6 years son is suffering from leukaemia and a surgery will cost me almost 30K $. My only request is that you must prove that you indeed have the funds and that you are willing to buy.
In order for this I will need a deposit made of 1500$ by Western Union before I will ship you the car by sea cargo.I only want to convince myself that you are a good faith bidder and you are indeed interested in buying my car.
Once you made the deposit , you just have to send me the sender`s name and the MTCN(Money Transfer Control Number) because I want to be able to check that the money have been wired. When you get the car and you inspect it, you just have to make a bank deposit on my name with the full of the 35K $.
Warm regards!
Angelo Badalmenti

Unbelievable!!!

Many people are falling for scams that hijack ebay accounts. The hijacked ebay accounts (with good feedback) are used to sell exotic automobiles and other high priced items.

If you receive an email requesting that you verify your ebay accout, make sure you disregard the email.

Just a FYI for those a little less experienced with Internet scams.

Guys... this isn't a scam. It's real. I can prove it.

To prove it, I'm going to need you to send me $4000. After that, I'll prove it. I'll get you the car. Seriously... just $4000 and the car will be yours.

Wow! So $35K + $4K is only $39K. Still an awesome deal. You take Paypal, or should we meet with cash in a dark alley?

My thoughts exactly! You have a car worth in the 80's but you can't afford $30K?

Also, the nearest dealer will give him $70K cash on the spot which is double the asking price and quicker too.

What a F-ing loser!
