New Dyno Results on My 996TT

Hey there

I removed the Fabspeed Exhaust and Fabspeed Intake to test some new products and see what the dyno results would be. We put on the JIC Full Titanium system with a Prototype Agency Power cold air intake and changed the spark plugs to NGK 1 step colder. Got some good results. Check it out!

What was weird is the Fabspeed felt more torqey but it must have been the sound difference. We are throwing the Fabspeed on a friends X50 to get some numbers soon!

New Sound Clip Available!!!!

iborroel is infamous around these parts
Have there been any other 996 turbos getting this much power on an AWD dyno from a flash, exhaust, headers, air intake and diverter valves?

The only other sponsor on the forum that has an AWD dyno is IA I think. We have a mustang Dyno and that reads low too!

The only reason I ask is that your stage 2 car (except for headers) is making much more horsepower then what is shown on IA's website for a stage 2 car.

thats about right. My IA stage II with a fabspeed loud put down 448wtq and 445whp on a mustang dyno. That was with the stock airbox/filter, stock headers and stock dv's.

Dan, so what is your take on FWHP? Are you still on stock K16s? Wow!

The intake was similar to just replacing the stock air filter with a K&N one. Cool design, but the problem I had was since it was fully exposed, it got filty and clogged. IMO.

IA Stage 2 is different then mine and others.

Still on stock turbos. We are actually doing a custom setup with external wastegates that will get you about 30HP more since the factory wastegates get bogged at this level. We do it on STI's and EVO's and the difference is huge.

Working on sound clips.

Maxwell, change your valves, add NGK plugs, and put a K&N drop in on. That will help the car out.

Were those numbers for AWD or 2WD?

My email notification was not working. Did not even know it got this far!

I will have a sound clip done this weekend and a group buy started on the exhaust which will be shipping in January. Our other testing of external wastegates which is proven on other cars we will post here soon.

Thanks!
Dan
