It can certainly be an issue with the chassis dyno as you point out, but maybe not this one (brand) in particular.. The problem is that this might start yet another debate on dynos and I am not up to it. Chassis dyno readings are seen all over the place lately, don't know why, or maybe it is because we are seeing more of them posted around
When you do a quick run on a chassis dyno you can see these spikes often, depends on the load being put on the run and speed at which the run is made. The problem is not the curve drop in itself, it is the peak rather, that should not be there in the first place. When you are on the road that peak will not be there.
Without AFRs, boost, knock sensing it is difficult to know exactly but this is my amateurish explanation.

All this about different Dynos has me thinking!! made a few calls & will be
dynoing my car tommorow with a dyno jet AWD. I know there different
dyno' s, time, temp, etc, but I'll be able to see the different torgue curves & have a different perspective!! Just curious!!
