Cool Smoked Taillights

Does anyone knows who sells the actual smoked taillights? I prefer not to use the adhesive film if possible.

I have seen them on Ebay, but they are being sold from Germany, no US sellers from what I have seen. I also am interested in some too.

Just pop them out and go to a paint shop. Tell them to pt smoke in the clear. This is a coloring in the paint they use in custom jobs often called "candy coats" you can tint the clear any color you want to create a transparent tint. Then have them hit them with 2000 grit, prep and paint the tail lights. Old trick.

Between all the fuel I've smelt today and the trauma of seeing my black TT being ripped apart and sort of back to stock... I'm going crazy At least the white TT has some EVO intercoolers (not much else lol!).

Speaking of taillights, are there any aftermarket options for the 996 to have led style like the 997tt?
