I have both OEM GT3 standerd seats, and the replica's.... To be perfectly honest, the rep's are just as nice..... The leather is a bit different and the brackets aren't as nice..... If I didn't track my Turbo as much as I do I would run the replica's all of the time....
I love the way the CF back look with my OEM Full carbon interior...

Tough call John?
Seats look good however..if I ever need to rely on structural integrity of the seat in a crash..oh boy!!!
Having seen more than one seat fail at speed,I have taken a very cautious path when selecting "safety equipment." I probably have more concern for the seat mount quality than the seat.OTOH,any stock seat with "hinges" can be really bad news.
I would pass if I needed the seat for the track or ORR. Safety to me,really is a no compromise deal.
Cheers

P.S.
Z06 track car has Evo seat with hardbar ($300.00) mounting rails.Ruf factory seats for ORR in the past & Kirkey next year.

Basically I sit like 3" lower easier to drive with a helmet with the OEM GT3's...... On the street I don't run harnesses...
In regards of safty with the replica's.... I have a buddy that was involved in a 70+ MPH side impact, the seats don't even show any stress cracks....

Ahhh so its the Brey Krause brackets that are getting you lower not the actual seat. But the Brey Krause brackets are not compatable with the replicas. Thanks! Now does anyone know the actual manufacturer of the seats??? Are they made in Germany or in the US??? Or in China

In my opinion never go cheap on 5 things.
1. Tires
2. Brakes
3. Seats
4. Cognacs
5. Tennis shoes
There's nothing like driving around w/ a never ending hangover only to lose your concentration for a split second, slam your brakes that pressurize unevenly causing you to get sideways. The little braking that is functioning isn't doing any good because the cheap tires don't grip. you hit a wall and your seat brackets snap under impact
sending you through the windshield. Now you're lying on the hood of your car with cheap shoes.
Not the way I like to go.
