1st gear hiccup
I was wondering what some of you may think this problem may be. When I take off in first at WOT, I tend to get a hiccup right around 4k rpms, then the car takes off again. This never happens in any other gear. I am thinking it is PSM kicking in, but I am not spinning any wheels at all when I go. Could it be when the car is boosting in 1st around 4k, it is spinning the wheels? Also it is alot colder here in MD...around 45-50 degrees. Thanks for any thoughts or info.

Yep, just did the Beru's at the dealership about 5 months ago, and then changed to the Bosch FR6, during my tranny repair about 2 months ago. I am thinking it may be my MAF or loose O2 sensor since the car sometimes stalls pulling into parking spots or my garage.

Thanks, I will look into it tomorrow and see if anything looks loose or out of place at all. I did have a problem with my wastegate hoses not being attached when I got my car back from the dealer.

I have the original MAF that came with the car 5 years ago. I have cleaned it many times with Wurth electrical cleaner and have the 1st gen V-Flow...but no CEL's. When it hiccups, it is a very abrupt loss of power...kinda like hitting rev limiter at 4k rpms...but then it takes off right after the hiccup to red line.
