I recently noticed this honking type sound , I couldn't tell if it was coming from the front or the rear and it would still do it when the car wasn't on boost for a few seconds. Is this the dv's?

One more question, when driving at faster speeds do you guys hear a lot of wind? my turbo seems pretty noisy at high speeds and I was just wondering if they were all like that or if something happened to mine in the past. Thanks

No. It's the quietest car I've ever driven in terms of wind noise at speed.

Any type of honking noise will certainly raise caution to the DVs. Take it to the dealer and tell the you hear AIR. This will force the to do a pressure test. The DVs will pass or not.

There should be nothing in the way of noise like Dock said.

At the same speed, say 80 mph, the wind noise is about the same. Very little time though is spent at 80 mph in the F-15. Low altitude at tactical speed, ~550 mph, it's pretty loud.

Heh, yeah what, about 1.5 seconds on either end of the journey?

That's about right for takeoff and landing, and there are times during a slow speed 1v1 engagement when you pass through 80 mph. We'd also see 80 doing tail slides, but we'd see "0" for awhile during this maneuver too.
