Radio Question.

Radio Question.
Had battery changed at the dealer today on 2003 TT. Tech said he hooked up car to backup power while he changed battery (so radio should work). I noticed on the way home that the radio will turn on but no sound will come out of speakers. Is there anything I can do or does the car have to go back?

No this is not correct. You do NOT need to recode. CDR-23 "communicates" to the alarm system via the MOST bus (and a gateway to CAN). The alarm automatically recognizes and enables the radio when it's there, thus no need for codes. The only time this is not correct is if you actually replace the radio with a different radio. Now why the radio doesn't work...I would let the dealer sort that out. Most likely they disconnected something else.
