That is what I am talking about. Centered like a pro. You are the shizit sharky. Well done. What is your opinion of cutting a hole in the stock airbox to improve breathing? I've heard it could help.

Heh thanks..we try Well cutting open the driver's side of the airbox seems like a good idea in that you do get to "suck" more air in. The trouble is it's hot air...

I just saw pics of sportecs airbox with snorkel on rennlist forums. This looks like it would solve the hot air issue. I bet it is not cheap though. Looks good!

Carbon never is! Same idea s we used to do before (about 4 years ago) but it's nice to see the snorkel negating the hot air issue! I still wish there were more conical style filter systems.

hey sharky why not just make a cost effective snorkel made out of injected plastic that woud simply mount upto a modified stock box? cheap, simple and easy. For those that don't care for the frou frou CF look. This would be the best box mod ever better than the EVO unit with out all the MAF crap.

Hey oak... I actually did try and do this a couple of years ago but there wasn't much interest. Wasn't pretty but for folks that want it done that's what I'll do. It'll look a lot prettier now that james is around and has nice tooling On the higher HP kits especially where the maf is an issue.
