if it's clanking you need to either adjust the dl's or the heim joints are shot. get the dl's with the delrin teflon lining.

lI have the GT3 sways front and rear and they are great. you just need to set them up correctly.

I've tried to counter understeer by going much tigher on the rear SB's in conjunction with 3/4 soft front coils and 3/4 tight rear coils. It actually seems quite balanced.... this is before I went with 245F and 335R Rcompound... not sure until I experiment in the spring.

Oak is right.. it doesn't take too much to go from the understeer right into oversteer mode... and that's not really safe or good either.

Well Mike, your set up is slightly different to Oak's (coil overs and where the drop links mount) so you do need to be careful. Don't go any further than the middle hole on yours. At least you have some expensive curved drop links.. but anymore than the middle and it'll bind. I honestly prefer the H&R set up on these cars these days but what you have does work and just don't go further than the middle...

Alex are you saying that the the H&Rs are better no matter what? Could I use GT3 if I had custom end links made? Or should I just use H&R? If H&R, which set should I order if I am going to do the RWD conversion? Joe

Well I don't like the idea of GT3 sway bars on a AWD or even RWD TT. Unless you change the wheel carriers/hubs etc... then the geometry is all wrong and you have binding issues with drop links etc.. Not a good match really. Stick to a set of H&R ones that are made for a turbo instead of a 2WD car like the GT3 or GT2.
Alex the GT3 sways you sent me are fine on my turbo even with stock droplinks, although you hear them clunk sometimes over a big bump or at full lock you can hear them, they will be swapped out soon but not bad! Totally changed the feel of the car

If you have custom drop links made then you're likely going to be ok... I guess what I am saying is it depends on what you want. If you want to play with understeer/oversteer charachteristics and want to spend 300-400 on noisier custom drop links then the GT3s are fine. If you want something that's "beefier" and catered more towards say changing lanes quickly with less sway then the H&Rs do a fine job.
