Well the reasoning is complicated but basically on my way down to the Monterey Historics I got pulled over with those straight pipes. I had to basically get it close to stock in order to go to a smog referee. With that in mind, we happened to stumble upon a white 996TT, carbon, red stichting all of which is something I'd lusted for before so I figured it was a good time to do it. I've always enjoyed 6speeds (like on the C2 etc..) and since my days of drag racing are over I figured what the heck. I found the limits with the tip and that was around 800hp. The tranny gives out sooner or later and I had basically hit a brick wall.
