Hehehe....

Someone (with a question similar to my origina) brought this old thread back. It was an EVO GT640... I did sell it, I did buy it back and it is now a UMW II ZC. It's actually at the body shop getting a whole bunch of carbon fiber added and has some 997 GT3 seats at the shop waiting install... it also just got some Moton suspension and GT3 sways. I'm not selling it again anytime soon.

Hehehe... it's a sexy beast... sitting on 19" HRE 545Rs with the reverse lip. It puts some perspective on the Orange 997 TT I ordered from you for my wifey!

It will end up getting the stage IV eventually. My wife wanted a turbo also, so that "delayed" my budget for modding this car by a few months.

Here is a another real point. January 2007 I was offered a 14500 mile 2005 Turbo S for $94K. Owner had hoped to get about $100k. It was unmolested unabused car. East coast area. I realized I could get a low-mile GT2 for only few $K more, eventually went for the GT2.

i think you guys are overestimating the value of the 05 TTS, auction values are more like 80K.

Spools from 500rpm's at 2.0 BAR? (YES 500RM's)

Heard SLOWMO was removing yellow striping from asphalt somewhere near Kevin's shop in WA state simply by driving over the stripes and hitting the gas. Let me know whe you are dynoing the car! I'll be there.

I don't kow where some people get their numbers from but, I tell you this much. I have done a nationwide search on 05 Turbo S before and after I bought mine, and I have been to the Manheim Highline auctions in Riverside, CA with my dealer friend at least 4 times for it and I was able to see only 2 of them. The really good condition was sold for $97,750. The other one sold for $89,500. For those who are not famliar with Manheim, it is probably the biggest name in wholesale car auctions.

I had better luck getting sales results for 04 TTs since they have more transactions completed, but cuting and pasting it here did not work for some reason. If anybody is interested, PM me so I can email the results to those who need them. 2005 are difficult to determine since there are not very many completed transactions.

These are wholesale auction prices to dealers and resalers correct? Not retail values?
