Jeff, looks pretty much the same as the Eastwood roller I bought. (roller is a different color?). the Eastwood unit works great!

Alex - is this white car the 3.8L you were talking about in the fairwell post?

here you go fellas... sorry, once again, the MIC was not turned on so you'll sadly miss the sound (it's pretty effing crazy if I do say so myself) this time. Basically we just got her going yesterday to do a couple of roll-in 2nd to 3rd gear pulls. She works That's my usual spot for doing videos and James was going faster than normal I'd say....

She'll be off to Arizona to get tuned shortly along with the 3.8L Turbo S....

finally.. she's leaving today on a trailer to Arizona for some tuning for a week along with another GT800 with our 3.8L kit on it. Going to miss her. She sounds pretty mean, even with a quiet exhaust and no "real" getting on it (not without tuning).

Hey Alex - what's the best exhaust for my setup. I love the sound of teh fabspeed cats with muffler bypass but dont like the loss of torque. Im thinking a custom with 3 inch piping etc.

Thoughts

Hey Jags.. well as you know there's no "best"... It's basically a case of what you want and how much you're willing to compromise in terms of resonance etc.. . To date the exhaust that I think works really well is Craig's... There are off-the-shelf ones that are really nice but if you're going beyond 700hp well.. there is no exhaust

Congratulations Alex!!! Todd is doing some impressive tuning with the new Hitachi MAF. Full torque below 4000 rpms!!!!! Looking forward to the results with the 3.8 kit.

Jags, I agree with Alex regarding the exhaust quandry. If maximum performance is your goal, and you can live with the considerable resonance, an exhaust like mine is the way to go.

Hey Craig... when I heard the numbers Todd made on yours and at the RPM levels I was pretty stoked for you! I know my tip was never that powerful and mine _was_ fast so yours must be pretty silly! Of course the reason we came up with the idea for our 3.8L kit was to tackle some of the lag associated with the bigger turbos... But after what happened with yours, hmm what lag ? I managed to snag a quick run of the 3.8L GT800 before she got loaded up for Arizona. She sounds beastly and for now our white one is sticking to 3.6L but it'll give us a good idea of a 3.6L vs 3.8L. I know Todd/Mike have already seen some very encouraging stuff for the 3.8L on the GT700 and I know they'll be running with it
