We had Jamie set us up. I believe he said the "only" ones available but I remember talking to alex and he said he had something "custom"? Either way it bummed us as we should have been in the 180s at least

Alex,

My guess is you were running softer street pads. What kind of noise do they make, if any at all, when you stop? You need the yellow pads for performance stopping.

They sound like yellow's. You have Brembo, correct. How many pistons on front and rear calipers? What size discs are you running front and rear? I am trying to compare them to what I am running.

Ohh I see. Yes I have exactly the same as Alex'. So it's the Brembo GT Le Mans 8 piston up front and 4 in the rear. 15 inch up front and 14 in the rear. Oh and I know they work with your wheels since Alex had them on his and they cleared perfectly:P

I'm going to talk to Jamie and see what he recommends we do about the brake pads though.

Alex,

The GT3R LeMan calipers are six piston up front and four piston in the rear. I do not know of any racing teams using the eight piston calipers. I don't know why.

alex -what fluid did you use??
I wanna change from ATE blue to either Motul 600 or the Castrol SRF (??) fluid...If I remeber the castrol one is high maintenance and is silicone based so you must REALLY FLUSH your lines of any old fluid or the stuff will solidify and turn into a gel in your lines (Yikes!!)...
Let me know,
Also, I got the pads for my 8-pods from Brembo but they do squeel sometimes independnet of wether the brakes were warm enough or not...Some days they do some days they dont...really wierd...it happens when you apply little pressure...
Also, when in reverse with no music, there is a wierd like metal on metal rubbing sound (very light) and I still can not figure out what is causing it

Haha that sounds just like mine in every instance. I love everyone looking at me like I have something wrong with my car:P

Stephen did really flush out the fluid. As he said we just didn't have the right pads is all The black instead of orange... Dangit.

Mansour: SRF is not silicone based so no need to superflush.

Sharky: Dang, what did it feel like with Cort out there thrashing the **** out of your car? He was humpin it wasn't he! That looks like one seriously good driver.
