First off my name is not on there by me I don't really care. I am goin thru the same r&d bs. I am not knocking anyone, Just want to see it. If I have to drag my bike down to play so be it. I know the game and have played it for awhile. I know what my car ran and didn't or whats up there on the list I just want to see how fast it is. Cause the last time I check NO STOCK INTERNAL 911 TT anywhere has put down 700 + whp

 

True and i havent either, but Suman's car put down numbers close to that, mid to high 69x whp range!!

 

The thing is....not many people *try* to make that much power on stock internals. They simply don't want to risk blowing their engine.

I never ran my car at higher than 1.3 BAR when I had stock internals...and I hit 600 rwhp. I'm sure at 1.6 BAR I would have been very close to, if not over, 700 RWHP. But I never wanted to risk it.

I know of a guy named Bobby that has hit 720 rwhp in his 996TT with stock internals (on K24/18g's with the boost cranked up...same guy that ran 9.9 at 140)...but he's got more money to spend on rebuilding his engine than I do.

 

Haha awesome Scott. Well that's how good your setup was and how efficient Todd's cars are, lower boost, more airflow and crazy results.

You of course could have turned it up more and ran better, what was the MAX on internals you think you can run, boost wise on your old setup? Then boost wise on a GT700+? Just curious!

 

The Pros say 650 rwhp is max.... Im surprised that Evoms is putting cars together with close to 700 rwhp... Even Stephen himself(engine builder) has said that numerous timers...
anyway, Im not talking Sh@t or anything.... we all are playing with fire at that level...

Hard to say. I just know that Todd recommended not running more than 1.3 BAR on stock internals, so I didn't. I'm not sure where the point of failure is....and I wasn't keen on finding out.

 

I hear that, although it would be cool to see where the limits are, im sure the pros know all the info

 

But they do know... Some Rods at that point...
I personally was told by Todd and Roger from Orbit racing. As well as by Kevin and FVD..... I seen numerous posts by Stephen and Sharky...

I wouldn't do a GT700 kit without internals, but some have and have not had problems. It is extra peace of mind when they are done that you won't go

Over three years ago KA was putting down over 650 rwhp. That is well over 700 crank hp. I have six bent rods to prove it. She had all stock internals at the time.

 

Ok, Well maybe I got a wednesday build motor

I have all the rods still in place and i know all of evo is still shocked I want to keep pushing it for the hell of it Maybe for the hell of it I will spray it for the 6speed meet in vegas
