My Protomotive Monster is done: 871 rwhp@1.5 bars

A couple of answers from Protomotive :)
We're getting a 4wd Dynapack on Friday. It'll be about 1400whp capable
Our engine dyno is rated at between 900-1000 crank hp. Vralexanders engine started out accelerating the dyno's holding capacity so we pulled it off and continued development from there.
Markski's engine had many software and hardware development issues to be dealt with along the way, as well as he had fitted his own intercoolers prior to shipping the car down. So, the engine had to be fit and final fab done in the car. Once it was in he car and fired, there was no turning back
This car has set a new precidence for efficiency.... Previously, Vralexanders had it with 863 crank hp @ 1.327 bar or 370hp/bar of boost absolute (863/(1.327+1)) = 370.86.
Markski's at 1033 crankhp at 1.5 bar made 413.2hp/bar of boost absolute (1033/(1.5 + 1)) = 413.2
That's 11.4% better power for the same boost... That's where the fun stuff is

I know that we will get the flat spot out... at the time of the build out it would take us back another 2 months and who knows how much cash

You and Alex are probably the only two people on this board who have experienced first hand what we have been going through for over two and a half years.
I fully understand how things change and twist from start to finish. Both yourself along with Todd/Cynthia at Protomotive have saved us time, money and headaches. The least I can do is freely share the information we have regarding your yet to be finished areas. That will save you alot of money in return. My final motor assembly is scheduled to be shipped to Protomotive before mid January to the last engine dyno tuning. That is 2007 I might add.
I just compared your dyno runs with Alex's. It looks like you made approx. eighty more hp with .2 boost throughout the spectrum. That is really saying alot for Alex's motor considering it dated by about a years time.

Mark man, im glad to see some crazy numbers and the beast up and running. These past months of you keeping me updated with little teasers had me so anxious, now its all finally coming together.
Cant wait to see updated numbers/runs and impressions, congrats again buddy

I like your philosophy on forced induction. I also do not subscribe to the "just turn it up" thinking. That is why my "other" motor (non Porsche) has spent countless hours on a computer modeling program Nice work, keep it up!

Congrats Mark, it seems that Protomotive is the leading tuner is the US for real high horsepower cars. I am thinking of picking up a used TT for a project car and sending it to Protomotive. Lets see some pics of that beast.
