Stephen,

That is my concern exactly: What if I miss a shift and overev, what if I get some bad gas etc....In a year or so maybe I will spring to have my bottom end built...better safe than sorry. I will try and stay in low boost. A 500 rwhp vehicle is a pretty darn fast DD...but man, is that 600 rwhp thrilling.

why are u scared? this car was built this way.... don't be afraid- you own the car not the other way around. put some 100+ gas and do some 1.3 bars .. at least on the highway that way u will not be afraid of spinning out in the lower gears.... if u think TTs are hard to drive.. get in a Viper LOL
just my opinion....

Sad thing is you do get use to it. My car seemed slow when I sold it. Then when I drove it again I thought DAMN....It is like a drug,

Viper, hell a Mustang or even an older 930. My 930 is all over the damn road!

my stage IV seems slow that is why I am upgrading... and I know soon that will not be enough... so I am seriously looking at the 3.8 liter kit in the future

50% throttle spin out...that is what I figured w/ your kind of power. I was loosing traction at around 70% in second, 80% in third. I am getting pretty good at sensing when the tires are about to break loose. I am very interested in seeing what the car does all out on the highway at 110 mph plus in fourth gear.

Marski, I will pm you now about the boost control (yes I have the Greddy).

One thing is for sure, suspension is critical. W/out the GT2 suspension I wouldn't even consider running hard w/ trhis kind of power.

However, I have only had my GT2 for 5 days now, and I feel very comfortable in her, as if I have been driving her for months.

my friend was following me on the street in his viper(he is a really good driver).. had to downshift to 2nd to pass and ended up in Taco bell... no joke...
same thing happened to my business partner on the highway... brand new viper... he switched lanes to pass a slow truck and ended up in the wall too...

My car had stock suspension at 600 rwhp for a while, and it was fine. Rock solid all the time. As Markski said, these things are easy to drive relative to other high-HP cars (Supras, Vipers, etc...).

But I would definitely recommend that Rob get a good aftermarket suspension installed like Stephen recommends. It's just that much better.

I really do appreciate you man. I hate that the "popular mass" that sits here does nothing but complain while you guys/girls sacrifice. Good luck and come back safe...

Plus you're nice to have on the forums too
