I believe "Jean" purchased an entire Motor from FVD and was very
happy with it.

do not know of this specific kit; some wiser than I think that the 3.6
is the perfect size/displacement for this motor (ie, Markski, VRAlex, etc.)

so much potential without increasing displacement...

Why? They still stretch with time. They have a lofe span verses the others are steel and will not have this issue. The T rods have a life of 80 hours if I recall. No reason to worry about the weight loss in a street motor. Un-needed expense IMHO.

Speaking of rods, I have a brand new set of Arrow Rods that go with a brand new GT3R crankshaft if you ever looking for one.

Unless they have changed, their 3.8 (102.0 mm) pistons and liners are made by Woosner (Germany). We have used their pistons and liners.

That's one way to go...one new engine evey time you try a new tuningkit.
And I who thougt it was a bit overkill when a bought an extra DME-box for my FVD stg 3 kit.. ;-)

Very interesting!
Any power/torque-figures?
What kind of turbos where you using, K24/24 or K24/26...?
Approximately how many hours of work did the 3.8 conversion take?
Could there be any reliability issues with the 3.8 engine compared to the original 3.6 liter engine?

I'm listening!
The RUF 3.8 kit would be nice, but my guess is that it comes with a different pricetag..

Woosner... Never heard of them.
Should I be happy or worried about that..?
