Well - Finially home with the new car! Its awsome - Thanks Ron it was great meeting you today...
I would have been home a whole lot earlier, but ran into one small complication in the middle of the desert just out side of Palm Springs- Blown Boost Hose . I was at WOT and at about 130ish and climbing quickly when the power and boost just quit and the car died. That was a new one to me so it took a call to EVOMS (Jon & Mike) and they helped me out promtly. We realized quickly it was the Boost hose so Jon had me re-connect the lower boost hose back into the Intercooler and I had to "Limp" home and stay out of boost completely! Its not as easy as you think to get going from stop with NO boost!
I had some guy in a Z8 that kept doing whatever he could incite a race and I could not do **** becuase is this and had to keep waiving him off!
This car is QUICK based on just a little bit of experience before the blown boost hose!
Anyways, 7 hours later - I am home!
Great car and the boost hose can be fixed very easlily! I have to say this is one of the or THE cleanest Porsche's I have ever seen!
I will take some pics in the morning! I guess its time for Silicone Boots Hoses!
