A good tuning Shop in S. CA
Hi All,
I have a 2001 Turbo, and I am starting to get the itch for more performance. I am planning on getting a set of JIC Crossovers and ECU flash. Where is a good tunning shop in S. CA?
I recently installed a set of I-Forged wheels and noticed the wheels are sticking out about 1/4-1/2 inch. Will lowering the car help?
Thanks

Tom, the technician at Lucent is hands down the best tech in L.A. I will go where ever he is working and currently he is at Lucent. I used to work with Tom at another tuner when I was younger and I really admire his knowledge and worksmanship.

Mind Over Motorsports in San Diego. They do everything from oil change to motors/tranny swap, re-valve/rebuild MOTONs, race proven alignments for street/track, to cutting fenders and doing full spec for any class you want to race.
owner(tim) is an experienced porsche technician who ran and managed race teams in the past. he works on the cars himself and has 1 other tech(ryan) that works for him who used to be a certified porsche tech at Pioneer Centres. They take care of the customer's cars and everything is done with the upmost attention to details. Because there are only two of them, you need to schedule in advance to get work done.
I've dealt with them in the past and will continue to do so as long as a I own a porsche = )

Thanks for the suggestions guys. What about the wheels? Is it normal for the wheels to stick out 1/4"? It's obviously further out than stock.

it's not normal for them to stick out but since they're custom built for the TT they will fit but sounds like they're aggressive. u need more camber in the rear. the alignment will take care of that. other note, rear fenders might need to be rolled as well. we shall see.
