Oil Consumption

My car seems to consuming a great deal of oil. And no oil on the garage floor.

Could it be that I am driving harder since the mods?
(Yeah.........NO KIDDING!!!!) Also I did notice that everytime I start it up their is a cloud of smoke for about a second out of the tail pipes.

Comments or insight please

Thanks

Orli930. This is an oil thirsty engine. How many miles and what consumption do you have? Morning smoke is normal. Try not to max out oil level. After first 6k miles oil consumption about a quart /1200 city miles. Less if highway miles.

Orlando....You've got an expensive oil burner there. I hate driving behind those cars blowing smoke/oil etc....

My '02 uses a quart every 1300-1500 miles. If I do a lot of Interstate driving it might go 1800-2000 miles.

I've gone 2500 miles since I bought my 03 with 7500 miles on it and it has used only 1/4 of a quart.

I had a problem when I first got my car, and if it sat for
days, there would be a fog behind for miles. It ended
up being a bad turbo oil seal, which they fixed quickly
for no charge.
