Doesn't the NAV unit have some phone capability for an integrated phone?

BMW and Mercedes now offer Bluetooth retrofit kits.

 

yep got one for my wife look on ebay for i plug by rds cost about $180.00 for the kit pluse $15.00 for an antenna hookup

 

Will this work on a 2002 bose sys?

 

Are these generic units or do they plug into the NAV unit providing automatic volume mute when calls are made?

I can't find anything on ebay. Could you please post a link for me?

ok, scratch my last comment...i had tested it out wile stationary in the car. As cruising speeds the car is way too noisy inside and the bluetooh doesn't get the job done. I cant hear much and everyone keeps saying that i sound distant. I wouldn't recommend this for our cars. Stick with the ear piece.

 

What is the best and lightest most comforatable ear peice?

 

i use the motorola H700 which works fine.
