did a search. seems like deviated stitching is the term for different color thread used to stitch the leather.

I did a quick search and found this thread: http://www.elisetalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29247

You can see the yellow stitching.

BTW this is the car that just chnaged hands on this forum.

Yep, thats my thread over on the Lotus forum. BTW, the yellow deviated stitching it hot!!
