Powdercoating my Lips
#33
I think it would look good but on the pics that Marty posted it mkaes the rims looks alot smaller and the lips are tiny so they get lost in the tires. I think on your car it would definately look sick and better than it did on that E46 but it wouldn't be as clean as your ride looks now. But you said you want a more agressive setup and I think it would look pretty damn agressive.
Quick questions if you powdercoated the lips gold would you leave the rivets silver or coat them black too, or maybe gold?? Not sure how it would look either way

I have it as a PSD file so could change the darkness or brightness of layers if need be.

I think it will definately look unique and different. I dont no if I'd do it to my own ride but it would be nice to see someone be different for once and I'm sure itll look good regardless considering your car is amazing. And when someone sees your car it will definatelyyyyyy make them take a double-take cuz I know if I saw gold rims with a huge black lip riding down the road I would definately look back to make sure my mind wasn't playing games on me lol. Im sure itll look great you have excellent modding taste, and you have one of my favorite turbos, I remeber seeing your car on e46fanatics once, I believe of nephew or cousin ( someone related to you) posted up pics of your car and I think to myself "that is one bad *** porsche" and ur license plate is awesome lol

You will for sure lose that 19" Big Wheel effect as the edge of the lip provides the big wheel look hence the reason most prefer the big wheel (to fill the arches) If I was going to do it, I think it would have to be Glossy Black, which i'm not to keen on! The reason is that this will make a clear enough edge against the tire wall. If you look at the previous Beemer pic, it wasn't to bad with the Gloosy look (I mean standing out though!)
50/50 on this!
