Id say go all black.
Try a PS of black center and red lip.

 

Up for trying something a bit different but I think to have a red lip you need to have a red car, someone else posted one which looked pretty good! I will try later but I have my doubts on this!

I like the gold lip idea too. I've been thinking of dong something to mine...not sure what yet.

 

How about black center with a flat gun metal lip? Will that look good?

 

Do not do a red lip, I saw it on a viper, in fact I think I saw it here, or a link to an ebay add, the lips look good from certain angles where you cant see the whole lip, but from all other angles I dont like it. I'll try and find the link.

Yip! The ariel shot of the Viper looks strange, but the side shots look cool! I think this would only look good on a Red Porsche anyway, there is one in the GT2 Thread, looks ok, but I'm thinking either all Black or with a different Black lip like MustGo suggested.

 

I think the Gold with a black lip would look awesome and definitely different, when the car is roling, the wheels will look like they are floating.
