How fast goes 996TT in one mile?

How much gets 996 TT to spidometer in on mile? and one kilometer?
In Estonia we have OMC - One Mile Challange, I go spring there racing, but like to know how much I can get.
Last year 996 TT with tiptronic gets 271km/h, but I have manual and I plan to change chip and exhaust
Sure I would try today, but @ moment we have here lots of snow

From the last "Texas Mile"

2001 996TT = 166 mph, 167 mph
2007 Z06 Corvette == 176 mph
Ruf Rturbo "Nardo" == 181 mph
Ruf RT12 == 183 mph

PV996TT is infamous around these parts
My car did 271 km/h ( 168 mph ) in 1 km ( 0,621 miles ). A German magazine tested the RT12 from 0-300 km/h and it took 1411 meters ( 0,876 miles ) so I guess a couple of more mph in 1 miles ( 1 609 meters ).

I have wanted to participate in the last Texas Mile event..however I did not make it...this year will be another story!!! We have tested my Protomotive turbo in an unofficial one mile run and the car bounced off of the 8000K redline before making it to the one mile marker....I want to go to the event this year so I can have an official read...

even if it wasnt verified by GPS...
Im sure with bettering gearing, it can go faster.
Im surprised the TT has the aerodynamics to go that fast.

The only problem I had was the rear windshield wiper peeled back...so I removed it....I believe that the cd on the turbo is .29 (.31 with wing up)....the engine produces enough power to redline 6th like it was 4th...I am going to switch to a 305/35/18 (which is 1 inch taller) so I can get about another 6mph....

The 996TT (.31) has a better Drag Coefficient than the 996 GT2 (.34), C6 Z06 (.34), Enzo (.36), Carrera GT (.39), and even the Veyron (.36 minimum).

Alex, assuming you're talking about RA1's for both (going from the 335 to the 305), I'm looking at a spec sheet that shows the circumference increase of ~ (Pi x diameter) = 1.5% (diameter is 26.3 vs 25.9 = 0.4" increase). This would net you 2 mph increase on top of a 232 base.

there should be a lot of really fast street cars at this event including some big power Vipers and Ford GT's. It would be great to see some really fast Porsches too!

I am planning to run my 996TT just for fun. A stock Z06 vette runs right at 170 mph in the mile and I think i can beat that. We will see.
