Rofl, BIG daddy brakes ...

Found those brakes on the net , who know this brand?

Rotora brake kits for porsche 996 turbo

Front 380*34mm rotors, 12 pistons calipers (or 8 or 6 depends your choice)
Rear 380*34mm rotors , 4 pistons calipers

prices come from 2425.50 $ for rear kit to 4425.50 $ for the front 12 piston kit, that seem cheap but they look quality parts (??).

Rotora is a high-quality and respected brand. However, I think 12 piston brakes are overkill for everything except the space shuttle.

I think Alexander will need the 12-pistons on half the cars he owns...and the one that is being built!

The 12 and and 8 piston fits only a 19" rim.

Does anyone have a link to the Brembo GTR brake kit, the one with the 8 pistons and made from titanium, it would be quite interesting to compare the two kits...

Mark, great choice. I think their 8piston fit the BBS and Cargraphic 18" wheels too, but I would go with 350mm and 6 pistons for anything other than endurance racing. Are you getting the 14"?

are the 12 pistons going to stop significantly faster than the 6, or will they just resist hard driving fade more?

Ok, is there something you have not done right on your car?

Ajax, the 12 pistons will (theoretically) stop much better than 6, however I doubt that the disk and piston change alone would yield those theoretical results.
