Owners of the GT750 kits, can you post up a dyno sheet?

Do you have any dyno sheets from how your car is currently set up? It would be an easy way to compare it to the 750 sheet that was previously posted.

Ben,

I'm not trying to compare my gt700 to a gt750. I was putting out the info for the guy who started the thread. And Joes has alot more than a gt750 right Joe?

I have experienced a GT750 in the real world conditions. I have been passenger and drove stock, stg1-4, GT640, GT700 and GT750. Each step is a noticible difference. A GT700 will walk my GT640. The GT750 was an ANIMAL!! After riding passenger at EVOMS I am able to say that there is a noticible difference between a GT750 and GT700. That car was extremely fast!!

I havn't had the chance yet. But there is a GT800 at EVO now.. I'm going to stop by EVO tomorrow. I'll see if I can get a ride. Joe G has a GT800. He was here in AZ at the drag day. That car was really fun to watch. A street car run mid 10.'s in the quarter. The GT800 is a totally different animal from the 700-750. Evo's car was a GT800 when it ran the 10.37. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Since I got the Performance box... Im starting to guage performace more based on these runs... instead the "butt test"... thats relative and not really accurate...
100Km to 300KM will be a great test... with 2 to 3 shifts...
60 to 130 miles is hard to compare becasue some cars liek the eovms do it in one gear and others with bigger turbos do it in 2 gears...
just my opinion...

you are completely right mark, for each kit there is a give and take on gearing, turbo lag, etc.. the gt700 kits can run one gear in 60 to 130, and pull great times.... all kits have their own respective pros and cons.. i for one have been very open to each tuner, as have you... you have been one of the driving factors into me finding the truth among tuners... i looked into UMW and PROTO tuning and for ME, EVOMS was the ticket.. and im not saying thats for everyone!!.... fortunately, I live in the same town as evoms and can see the commitment to their customers... there were a lot of people that insinuated that todd z at evoms manipulated a 60- 130 time.. what reason would he have to do this?? honestly? we are all here to get to the same result.. happiness with our cars.. regardless of what tuner it is...

Mark i love and respect your commitment to this endeavor to better our cars.. dont take this any differently..

I agree agree Sonny....
We need more GPS data... different cars different set ups... we learn from it.
after doing my 4th gear pull I realized that I could not do it...
I need it to go 3 and 4... I would liek to see a evoms gt700 or 800 do a 3rd and 4th gear pull...
Also I had the PSM ON... did you guys????
best,
mark

Mark,

may i respectfully suggest 0-300kmh (187mph) as a useful benchmark? for one, it lessens the effect of variances in grip off the line (or lack thereof,) and is also a good test of top-end grunt. once you're anywhere above 500-600HP in a car, you can really only truly maximize the power once well into three digits.

secondly, it is a benchmark that allows comparison with all sorts of other cars, on both sides of the atlantic, and even elsewhere. everything from the Macca F1 to the Enzo to the CGT to the Veyron, and tuner cars like Rufs and Mantheys and Gemballas, and even ballistic drag Skylines out of Japan, have all used 0-300kmh as a measure.

some 0-300 times for reference (i've rounded #'s off):
10 secs - Benetton Formula One car
13 secs - Veilside Skyline GT-R
17 secs - Audi R8 LeMans racecar
18 secs - Bugatti Veyron
21 secs - 9ff 911 Turbo Cab
26 secs - Ferrari Enzo
30 secs - Ferrari 599
32 secs - LP640 Murcielago
34 secs - Carrera GT
41 secs - 996 GT2
41 secs - 997 Turbo
42 secs - C6 Z06
sorry for the hijack...

cheers!

WOW that Skyline must be insane! Any more info on that beast? F1 does it in 10 seconds, that would snap your neck a little!

I think as far as tuners go the cream has risen to the top. The best is purely subjective and tuners like Evoms, Proto and UMW all have very happy customers which is the ultimate end result of your success or failure.

I do enjoy reading all the different measurements you guys come up with but at the end of the day the ONLY REAL way to measure one car against another is to run side by side in the REAL WORLD. Not to say it isn't fun to see all the numbers. Those guys across the pond seem to do it right when they rent an airstrip and run the cars against each other.

Wish it was easier for us to that in the States.

Keep up the good work everyone!

I agree, Buddy. Side by side roll-ons are really the only truly accurate way to compare one car against another.
