MPH doesnt tell the whole story and you know it.... what about weight? If two cars go to the strip and post the exact same trap speed...does that mean they have the same power, absolutely not...only if they weigh exactly the same...what if they are 400-500 pounds apart? How accurate is trap speed then? The dyno sheet is just one part of the holy triangle... Trap speed, 60-130 and Dyno runs... individually they dont mean much, collectively they tell a story... I agree ... Just after Tulsa I learned a little more about this tuning stuff ...
simply a Pro driver can knock off at least a half a second for example... but the MPH should stay the same... weight, launch (60ft.), driver, etc.. I agree it all matters... thats why comparing to cars on different dynos and or strips is useless... the only way to do it is having all the cars in question together...

For an accurate estimate of horsepower all you need is trap speed and raceweight.

Very windy and dusty, track was not in the best condition due to cold/dust. I did not see a porsche run in the 9's but I left early,or may have missed a run or two. .
