Talking At last my TT has a Soul - Hard Rubber Engine Mounts

Throughout life with my modified TT Coupe and previous modified 996 CAB, I always had a love / hate relationship with Porsche as whilst being efficient ( and with the TT blindingly fast of course ) but as another Ferrari Stradale & ex TT owner, pointed out to me, the TT has "No Soul". Maybe its just my combination of mods but the $500 or so to do the Hard Rubber Motor Mounts last week has somewhat been a revelation. The car just feels like it finally should, no excessive vibration or droning, just alive rather like a 993 air cooled version, every move on or off the throttle, even at very low revs, gives some aural feedback and I really WANT to get in and just drive it, anywhere ... for the first time

I know what you mean. It's a subtle change but noticable at the same time. Surely one of my favorite mods.

I always felt the same way about my turbo, i needed the speed to enjoy the car! GT2 sure solved it though, are these the same engine mounts in the GT2?

I do. the mechanical feeling of connection of you to the car to the engine comes alive with upgraded motor mounts.
I think that's what he means, I did the same and feel the same.
