LOL first and foremost welcome to 6speed. Now i know its very hard to resist remapping the ECU (Knowing its relatively cheap and will turn the car into an ANIMAL, even more so) but learn the cars limits as is, and when you get bored do it.

One thing i suggest is coilovers/sways, makes the car that much more enjoyable and a short shift kit!

Either way car is awesome and just be safe and enjoy it in the best of health. Enjoy your stay on 6speed

Martin

LOL i wasnt always like that and of course have my fair share of moments on the street where im on a run or provoked

But yea, i realized over the years of owning, building and driving very fast/scary and expensive cars learning their limits and respecting the car and our driving limits are key, its hard to resist but someone who is just hopping into a car of this calibur should take it easy until he feels comfortable. Not automatically modifying off the bat because he knows he could

If out of warranty, definately do the GIAC, diverter valves and motor mounts. Outside of driver education, I believe this to be the biggest bang for your buck in regards to performance.

Convince you not to chip it? Brother, you came to the wrong board! There are a lot of Stock Nazzi's over on Rennlist that will keep you in OEM trim.

Deep Blue,
You said to get new motor mounts. Has this been an issue with the TTs?

I've had my car three months. The mods are listed below. Yeah, I'm really patient.

Yeah this is definately not the place to hand around if you want to be responsible and stay stock! Sounds like the modding disease has already started to manifest and it will grow very quickly! Get out now while you can!

I was reading that the stock diverter valves can hold up to stock boost of .7 bar and the GIAC flash will take you up to .8 to 1.0 bar. Is it a must to change the diverter valves with a ECU flash? Is anyone here running stock diverter valves with an ECU flash.
