Neil...sort of out of my league but wouldnt it have to be clamped at the Max 5 volts since these motors are going way over the designed flow. kevin

Kevin,On the car I did i Korea with big turbo's etc the stock MAF was maxing out at 5 volts @ 4000RPM so we had to go to a larger MAF housing to slow the air down.

Kevin did the same for his 3A and 3B , but isnt the GT700's using the stock MAF housing? If it is then the voltage would Max long before the car reached redline...so it would have to be clamped at 5 volts...i think

Thats correct.I think what is happening on the bigger kits is that the MAF is being pegged long before Red line with the stock MAF housing. When I used the bigger ball bearing turbo's and intake tubes the injectors and MAF were both maxed at 4k.

Given the fact that the V-flow MAF fix is basically re-installing the factory waffle inside the airfloe of the V-flow, I think that the voltage pops the MAF theory is out the window. After all RUF and other cars run up to 590 HP with the stock MAF...

Perhaps the waffle makes the air flow more uniform, preventing turbulence, resulting in a more stable voltage in the MAF?

This is why I believe that when you look at the evo dyno graphs you see the hp stop climbing at some point and drop.
