Jammer

Check out: rockymountainradar.com
They sell a jammer, leagal in most states, small and inexpensive.

Also a combined radar detecter and jammer.

I am running a V-1 and have had great luck with it for 8 years, but this has my attention.

Anyone have any experiences with this unit?

Thanks

Greg

All garbage.

Stick with the Valentine One, just add the Lidatek Laser Echo for some laser jamming. You will then have the ultimate setup.

You may also want to send in your Valentine One for an upgrade. New Software, low profile design.

V1 Upgrade

What is the cost of the new Upgrade if you have a V1 that was brand new in 2001

I did the upgrade
200 bucks and you surrender your unit..
So, your unit is a 100 dollar coupon!
But it is all good

No, Lidateck and all lasser diffussers jam only laser guns (Lidar), not radar, Multanova's are radar based, K & Ka band.

lidateck problems

I spoke to soon to be board sponsor Ai Design-they informed me that lidateck was breaking in the cold. According to them one part of the system would break. they also said that the company did not stand behind the units. My advise is to stay away from this company

I've had the Lidatek for over a year, and haven't had any problems. Although they did do an exchange with anyone that had problems with the transponders in freeainf weather. Not sure where you got your info from, but the guy's from the M5 boards had theirs exchanged with no problems. Mine has saved me numerous times already and I feel it's paid for itself by doing it's job.

I am currently using my V1 (saved me couple times.... but not all!)

but I heard of something called "K40" (bumpers installation) yesterday @ the body-shop. I think its a jammer as well...

what do you think that K40 radar? anybody heard of it? or any inputs about them?

EM - I think lidatek laser jammer is a lot better than the K40...All the M5 guys have it and are really happy with it...
Sporters is right too...LE-30 and or LE-35 (newer than LE-20) should be out soon.
