yes, I had that issue along with the body "tang". did the heat gun thing also but still melted the plastic lining. I went ahead and purchased the GT2 bracket an new GT2 plastic liner.

tom, I just tried to dry fit my left side, installed my new evo hoses and the new gt2 rear bracket and new rear liner. it has slightly more clearence. the difference between the GT2 liner and turbo is only a small mounting hole where the shorter rear bracket goes. you could basically just shorten the bracket and relocate and pop a new hole in the liner.

How big of a spacer does it take with factory GT2 wheels to clear on the inside? In other words what offset are you guys running?

ebaker, I'm running bbs racing purchased sharky's old personal set, not sure what the offset they are. tom, I believe he is running stock GT2 with mpsc 335's.

Don't get Pirelli's, I have the 355/25/19's on my car and they don't hook very well at all.
