Who's Running 335 rear tires?

Michelin offers them in the PS2's for a few dollars more than the 315's, and i believe in the Pilot Cup Sport's.. Toyo RA1's come in 335, and im sure the Pirelli Pzero's as well!
I will be ordering the Toyo's for the track, awesome tires!

man it will be some work to make them fit. I am doing some final adjustments just get some mpsc in 315's to fit with no issues. I think you would be limiting your suspension adjustments if you go with 335's. good luck.

To be as close to factory diameter, I believe 295/30/18, 335/25/18. RA1's come in 335/30/18. That would throw the speedometer off. Now, as long as the front tire diameter matches, there wouldnt be any concern right? What about acceleration? Since the tires are a little taller, how would this relate to rotational mass? Would you notice a difference regarding acceleration?

turbos will mostly require some mods rolling fenders, fender liner mods. GT2's have different fender liners brackets etc so there is some slightly more room. the problems with 335's is the where the turbo is in relation to the edge of the inner tire, it will be close there have been some major problems with this issue. also, if you want to adjust suspension and camber will be limited.

BUT alot of other's have used them with no issues at all (Evom's Grey turbo, Sharky) .. I will be sure to set mine up well, it would suck to have something go wrong on the track at the wrong time!

tell me about it, that's what I'm taking care of now. for me personally, it's not worth it. the mpsc's are plenty wide and still have some fudge room for suspension adjustments, if your just putting around the blvd you shouldn't have any problems. problems aren't evident untill you are under full compression and the suspension is fully under load while exiting out of an apex.

Vince I have had extensive communications with Zippy (Mike) Very nice guy and he forwarded his files to me on how to mod the rear wheel liners which need to be done with a heat gun. But this is for a TT the GT2 has a slightly wider subframe and a "little" more room.
The rub area is tire through wheel liner and LEFT boost hose due to the way the turbo outlet faces on the left. Not a problem on the right with the boost hose just the liner.
For a TT wheel liner needs to be modded with a heat gun, fender rolled (GT2 already done), slightly "move" the left boost hose.
Run a 7mm spacer (if you like) again for my car not yours.
And lastly run near neg 2 degree camber.
I think all the trouble is really only when the car is tracked, street driving much less of a problem and also maybe the drag strip.
Opps, in answer to your question I am going with the TOYO RA1's on the way!!

tom, I have a question about your clearence issue, did you have to clearence the metal "tang" that over hangs at the rear where the rear quater panel body flange meets with the rear body flange there is a metal over hang if you run your fingers over back by where the bumper mount to the body you will feel it there is actually a cut-out in the fender liner for it. funny my clearence issue is with the right side, my left side was fine but I mirrored both sides.
