He was asking $699 for the paintable GT2 wing plus $120 Shipping. I offered $380 plus the $120 shipping and he took the deal. Told me it was the lowest offer he had taken to date.

I offered $500 for the carbon fiber GT2 bolt-on. $100 for shipping. When it comes I'll take some pics.

I got the roof spoiler and techart non-carbon wing. Shipping was quick and packing was good. Quality seems to be good but I will pay the paint guy extra to prep them better. Below are couple pics. Anyone has the instructions on installing them both? Thx.

Porsche Dynamic CF Wing Install

I finally got around to having my wing that I purchased from Porsche Dynamic painted and am now trying to install it.
After I got the stock wing off, I saw that the stock wing has what appears to be a screw insert that holds the wing in place on the two post/pillars.
Also, the CF Wing has threads on it and you can clearly see that you have to screw in this piece in order to lock it down onto the body. The question is, where do you find this piece or do you have to try and take it off the stock wing that you're replacing? I'm afraid the piece will break stock wing?
What have you guys done that installed yours???

I believe some people heated the stock wing in order to melt the glue and get that piece out. Maybe try running it under some hot water.

I purchased the TA Type 1 CF wing from this guy. It was packaged fine with no damage to the box. Upon inspection, I found that it's chipped in the middle and cracked at the tip - approximately 3 inches long.

He won't respond to my email messages - buyer beware.

I ordered a GT2 Carbon Fiber wing blade and I really like it. The finish is fantastic. I'll post pictures when I have it installed with my wheels/springs/swaybars in about two-three weeks.

If it's the Porsche Dynamic guy, don't be too quick to write him off. Remember, the guy's in Tawain and they're on opposite time zones than we are. I had some reservations about his communication, but he will respond. Matter of fact, I've seen some other threads where he's sent money back to help w/ repairs.

I purchased the CF wing and had planned on painting mine regardless. However, w/ the few cracks due to bad packaging, it was a no brainer to paint.

Thanks to you guys out there who responded to my plea for help, I was able to get the damn screws out and the wing installed. LOOKS GREAT!!

I don't know if any of you knew this, but Porsche does not list the screwable piece as an individual part. The OEM wing AND that metal insert are all considered one part number.
