Exhaust swap on 996tt: Remove the rear bumper?

The stock exhaust is easier with the bumper off just to get the right angle to squeeze it in and get the horrid straps off. Aftermarket units that are smaller or modular are very easy to do either way. It takes me about an hour to swap now after doing it a half dozen times.

Thanks Chad and Nola. I currently have a Europipe on, switching it out for some cat'd straight pipes. Appreciate the input!
