SECC Dyno Day (pics)

Joe,
I actually wondered that because my buddy dynoed his FGT after long tube
(made by Ford!)headers and it put some impressive numbers down. He also
pulled me everytime on highway pulls in my "480 trim". He didnt kill me though.
thanks,
MK

So what you are saying is that the Supra made 1054 rwhp SAE and the Viper made 1025 rwhp SAE? However, the Viper made more rwhp UNCORRECTED?
If that's the case then the Viper dyno'ed in ideal conditions and the Supra must have dyno'ed in crappy conditions (compared to the Viper - meaning hotter, more humid, worse barometric pressure conditions, etc...). HOWEVER, regardless, the bottom line is that the ONLY way to compare two dyno sheets (even on the same day) is to look at SAE corrected numbers.

Wrong, the Supra made more RWHP SAE Corrected and therefore won the competition... No worries, nothing to be ashamed of, getting beat by a lil' ol' 183 ci car...

You seem to know more about the event that I do, were you there?

Nope but was on the phone with someone there as the cars were dyno'ing, hence the reason I know the SAE corrected numbers for both cars...
