The tripppllllee 'G'

Good times, Good food and Good friends.....I am looking forward to meeting everyone and having some fun with the cars...I have spent some serious time and energy on the turbo so maybe, just maybe some recognition can be given to the 996turbo community when it come to play with the Big boys..so far the Supras and the Vipers are the champs... On the other hand....the experience is what an event like this is all about!!

On our way back to Vegas I want to drop by Scottsdale and have dinner with all you guys there...Joe I will give you a call when we leave Texas....

Alex, I'm looking very much forward to meeting you and your team! I know for a fact that I CANNOT hang with a 3.0 second 60-130 mph but I will do my best! Call me when you get into town...

Alex,

Too bad I can't get the new owner of my Supra to run you on the highway next weekend...if your car is as fast as you say it is....it would have been a good run. I don't know of any 1300hp+ Supras that will highway race you next weekend, but hopefully someone will step up to the plate.

Peter, will Tommy run the Quicksilver on the street? Who else has a stroker that will run?

Jamie, why start with 1300+hp, why not with the measely ol 1000 hp I have to start with?

As for Tommy, I'm not sure...but I can promise you there will be some VERY HIGH HP cars out that night...

I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you coming to Houston. There are some night activities involving a select few folks with highly capable cars. These are under the radar and promise to be more fun than the day events. PM me if you are game.

Alexander ran into a couple of high HP SUpras and managed.... off the line we usually dont have a chance... they run GM TH400 3 speed trannies with lien lock. all he has to do is let go of the button... no finess required... try that on a P car. but once we are doing 60 mph... watch out it as it may be alot closer then u think.
I do respect supras nothing against them.

Most HIGH HP Supras are 6speed cars. Driving a Supra with TH400 is a lot more difficult than you think, managing wheelspin is still a monumental task even with an auto car, it is of course easier than with a manual car.

From a roll is all about driver, weight, gearing, HP and aerodynamics, I believe the gearing and aerodynamics are close to each other on Supras and 996TT Porsches so it all comes down to weight, driver and power!
