Reminds me once when my daughter was 4 years old. She took a rock to my BMW & 911 and thought it was great that she could create drawings on my cars.
She hit hit every panel. Even my wife said I showed extreme control when I scolded her controling my temper as tears were flowing down my eyes.
Such fond memories.

We had a few neighbors over who happen to be standing next to the car and called me over. It was just beginning to get dark on this warm summer night and at first glance, it looked like spider webs on my BMW. It wasn't until I tried whisking them away that I could feel the actual scratches. My mind raced thinking where in the world I could have parked and what madman would have done something so malicious to my car? Then, I recall seeing my daughter the evening before around my car, so I called her over.
When I asked her if she drew on "daddy's car", she smiled yes. (Mind you, this was in front of all our neighbors.) Trembling and biting my lip, I asked her if she was supposed to draw on "daddy's car." She started crying, no. So, w/ tears also running down my face, I asked where she's supposed to draw to which she responded, "paper." What could I do, but simply tell her not to do it again.
I later learned my neighbors complimented my wife on "how well I handled the situation."
It was the following morning after I dropped my BMW off at the body shop that I went to get into my Porsche that I noticed it too.
BTW, I'm still in therapy.
