Roadster Doc,
I am not an expert but I will throw in an opinion.
The turbos are not plug and play, the 30 and 35 require different injectors
and possibly even fuel system changes. This tells me that when the GT35's
are "Tuned In" they would produce alot more power, hence produce a better
quarter mile time. We all are anxious to see what OHIO GT2 with his GT30's
is able to run!!

I considered going to GT30's but it is cost prohibitive for me to do so now.

Good luck in whatever tuner you choose, the options are better than ever,
now.

Truly thinking out side of the proverbial box. It appears Protomotive is not about marketing and selling upteen kits (volume) but developing what the
customer wants. Quality vs Quanity

Hard to say for sure, Doc.

I will tell you that Marks car, on a bad run, with his large GT35R's...was less than 2/10's slower in the 1/8th, but 7 mph faster than my car when I ran my 10.6 @ 136 with the K24/18G's. And my 1/8th mile time is literally about as good as it gets for a 700'ish HP car.

I hit 6.99 @ 107 in the 1/8th on that run. So while we would've been neck and neck at the 1/8th mile mark, he would have been traveling 7 mph faster. So he would have said...SEE YA!

That's some very insignificant lag for a turbo of that size, IMO

afer talking with bobby, todd, and my evo 8 tuner who was with me... the gt3076 garrett turbos are 1/4 turbos due to the power via the rpm range...
they spool up quicker so it does not take that much time for them to be at 100% .. whereas it will take me longer to get to the power due to the size of the turbo. yet we still did OK.

The GT30 turbo's will run out of breath above 7400 rpm's. They do start earlier as in 3400 rpm's. The GT 35's really don't come on until about 4300 rpm's but they breath well to 9000 rpm's.

If you hasve big valves and ports go with the 35's. If not stay with the 30's.

Once the mismatch between hot and cold side becomes to large you will create too much back pressure in the turbine housing and won't be able to produce any meaningfull HP numbers at higher RPMS.
