Champion RG5s
Hey guys,
Just got my champion RG5s before heading out to vegas. They are 19x11.5 and 19x8 or 8.5 mounted on 315/235s.
In looking at the car it seems that I could use some small spacers to push the wheels out a little further. Maybe 7 or 15mm or maybe 7mm front or 15mm rear.
I still have the 15mm spacers I used on my stockers so it should be a quick try. Does anyone have experience with this?
Don't have pictures of my car, but here are the exact rims: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=74954

I put 15mm spacers on my kinesis f110 on the narrowbody, the wheels are made for a narrow body but I still used 15mm spacers and it still looks like there is alittle more room.
same thing with my iforged wheel, they are custom made for the 997 but I still needed spacers.
champion is usually alittle more aggressive right out the box but you still might need alittle, since you already have 15's you can use those if too big you can machine them down or just buy smaller ones.
hopefully you didnt get narrowbody offsets?
edit: just looked at the picture you linked to, if those are the actual wheels you have and that is how it looks on your car then I think 15mm would be too much . i guess you also have to take into account the camber

You might want to verify your offsets.
The RG5's come in a 44mm and 62mm offset. The 44mm/11.5 should not require spacers and if used with a 7mm spacer, you may need to roll the lip. If you have a 62mm/11.5 you will need a 18mm spacer to achieve the same look as a 44/11.5. The offsets may be stamped on the inside of the wheels.

Thanks that makes sense. It sure looks like 15mm will fit all around. I'll update once I get it on.

Are you sure you have a turbo fitment.. Sounds like you have a narrow body fitment.

Ari on my Champs i also needed spacers, well didnt need them (they fit like stock wheels or like the 360CS wheels, little sunk in the fender) and i wanted to push it out, used 15mm and was pretty low so i rolled the fender and no probs, looked awesome!

ARI,
Fabryce was headed in the right direction with his question. The 44mm offset is for turbos and the 62mm is for narrow bodies. For the narrow body wheels to work on a turbo you would only need a 18mm spacer, not a 40. I would pull the wheels and see whats stamped on them. The turbo offsets should not require spacers. The 11.5/44 wheels will extend 1/4" or 7mm further out then factory 996tt wheels. Adding another 15mm spacer to a 11.5/44 wheel will extend it a total of 22-23mm or 7/8". This would make this fitment extend further out than a GT2 wheel, which is already a tight fit for some turbos.

Responding to a very old thread.
They are definitely turbo fitment, but after rolling the rears, I crammed the wheel/tire combo on with 7mm fronts (due to inner liner clearance issue) and 15m rear.
Now! It looks fantastic!
