From my experience:
EVOMS V-Flow makes a difference that you'll notice but the stock MAF might blow up, especially when the car has more power (550hp or so...)

Thank you kaizu for your help.

EVO V-Flow Induction System seems to be very good.

What do you think about 996 TT High Performance Air Intake System with BMC Air Filter from FABSPEED? www.fabspeed.com

What's the best of 2?

Any other 6speeders can help me?

Best regards.

I gotta agree with The IndyKid, the stock box.....unless you want to buy a couple of MAS and keep them in your trunk..

What is MAF??? Sorry I'm from Belgium and I'm a new owner of 996TT.

So, if I understood well I can't put an aftermaket airbox in my 996TT because I'll broke MAF? I just want a racing exhaust, chip and sport intake.

Thank you.

MAF=Mass Air Flow Sensor.

You can also add Sportec's intake as well.

You should be okay with an exhaust, chip and the V-Flow. MAF can go bad on a bone stock car too, but due to more airflow than the stock MAF can handle the risk of blowing it up with a V-Flow increases quite much (but yes, there's a lot of members without problems with the V-Flow)

Hope this helps

Stock airbox with a sport air filter is a cheaper and safer way to go but of course V-Flow gives a bit more power. I would put a BMC or K&N filter only and save money for other mods (suspension and better brake pads!!)
For more power without changing the turbos, I suggest the FVD intake plenum. It seems to be great "bolt on" part but I don't have own experience of it...(the only downside might be the installation, it isn't quick.)

evo airbox. 680whp no issues. I think the mafs are hit or miss and the evo intkae does exactly what you want it to do. Make power. GL

EVO is shipping all new Vflows with the "fix". It should no longer be an issue.
