OK, so let's hear how bad it really is.....
I have almost the same usage pattern that you describe. I only drive her a few days a week and never in bad weather. Yes black cars are a tad harder to keep clean, but only a tad. The trick I have found in owning 10+ black cars is the following:
Exterior:
Make sure you have one of those California Car Dusters. These things should come standard with all black cars. Meguires (sorry cant spell) Detailer Mist is a must also. I end up wiping the card down every few days with the duster and for areas that get dirty like the wheel wells and rear bumper I spray this stuff on and then wipe off. I end up not really having to wash the car as much as you would think. I can go months in the winter just doing this and get away with it. In the summer I like to wash it but don't always have to. Sometimes I use the misting spray all over and it really gives the black depth.
Interior:
Avoid ArmorAll or anything with high gloss. Black interior and ArmorAll just don't mix. It looks great when you put it on but after 3 or 4 minutes every dust particle in a three block radius sticks to the interior. I usually just use water and maybe once a year I use Meguires (cant spell) version of ArmorAll just to freshen up the interior. I also keep a Swifer Duster pad in the car and can quickly wipe down the interior when dust bugs me. Takes about 10 seconds. Not a big deal.
You can't go wrong with black in my opinion. As long as you do slight upkeep with the duster and mist its not a big deal.
Go for the triple black cab!

Sometimes in the summer, the detail mist will leave swirl marks due to it drying too fast. Use a micro fiber towel and run it under a water hose and then ring it out to where it is just moist. Then use it to wipe the entire car one last time. It takes all the swirl marks from the mister off the paint.

Keep going...NEVER wipe down the car in circles....ALWAYS straight lines! That includes while you are washing it...NEVER wash or dry the car in sunlight...find shade!
I love using the rubber and vinyl stuff from McGuires for the interior or just plain water...never armorall...
same with the exterior...just use the McGuires again for quick detailing!
I did this with the GF's car and it looks awesome...I could get away with more with the M3 since it was silver but now that I have a black car...time to buck up!

LOL. No anguish here. I am amazed that people buy cars other than black. I guess there is too much Henry Ford in me. Triple black cab would be fun. Think of it this way, I am sure you can get a good deal on BumperPlugs for the new car

I've tried other colors but they just don't do it for me. I had a silver Supra and I tried to cover up the silver with a CF hood and black wheels but it was still a silver Supra... the other cars in my shop just sat around and made fun of it for being "different". The silver Supra hired an ACLU lawyer to slap the other cars with a discrimination suit but it never stuck... where was I going with this? I have no idea... look, a pony...
